FOR NRIs AND VISITORS FROM ABROAD
Tell us your dates and what you need. We book the doctors and tests around your stay, start treatment while you are here, and keep your follow-up going by video after you go back.
Free A consultation with our doctor to go through your health check reports with you, so you do not fly back holding numbers nobody has explained.
For children and adults with type 1 diabetes. The pump is started by Dr Khizer Hussain Junaidy, Diabetologist & Bariatric Physician, who holds Medtronic's India certification in automated insulin delivery. Medtronic offers a global warranty on the pump.
A pump start takes more than one visit. Message Asad before you fly and he will tell you how many days to keep free, and book them.
Before you buy, check that sensors and infusion sets can be bought in the country where you live, or plan how you will carry enough with you.
A full assessment of weight, sugar, blood pressure, liver and sleep, with a plan you can follow once you are back.
Medicine only when your stage says so. Dr Khizer stages obesity with EOSS (the Edmonton Obesity Staging System), which looks at what the weight is doing to your health, not only at the number on the scale. A medicine is prescribed only when your stage calls for one. These are the medicines we use, with what a month costs in India:
| Medicine | A month in India |
|---|---|
| Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Yurpeak), weekly injection | ₹13,125–25,781 |
| Semaglutide (Wegovy for weight, Ozempic for diabetes, and Indian brands), weekly injection | ₹1,300–16,400 |
| Semaglutide tablets (Rybelsus and others), daily | ₹3,000–10,900 |
| Orlistat, capsules with meals | ₹450–1,350 |
Taking injectable medicines back with you. For personal use, carry them with the prescription and the pharmacy bill. Our pharmacy packs them so they stay cool through the journey.
Keep them in your hand luggage, not in checked baggage. Rules differ from country to country, so check the rules of the country you are flying to, and your airline's, before you travel.
If you snore, wake up tired or someone has seen you stop breathing at night. One night in your own bed, then a consultation with Dr Sameer Ahmed, pulmonologist, to go through the result. Both are in the price.
Allow a few days: the device, the night, the report and then the consultation (Mon–Sat, 8–10 pm). The device is arranged by Raza on +91 78429 79411.
Low iron corrected in one or two sittings in our day care room.
Blood tests come first, to decide the dose. If you need a second sitting, it is a week after the first, so plan your dates for it.
Checks for fatty liver and liver stiffness. The price includes a consultation with Dr Khizer, which is booked on a separate day from the scan.
The scan runs only on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, 10 am–2 pm, and you need to fast for 3 hours before it. If your stay covers one of those Tuesdays, book early.
The meningococcal ACWY vaccine is required for Umrah as well as Hajj, and it must be taken at least 10 days before you arrive in Saudi Arabia. We also give flu, pneumococcal, shingles and hepatitis B vaccines.
School holidays are a good time for a growth check, catch-up vaccines and any question that has been waiting. Dr Amreen is our paediatrician.
He consults in Urdu, Hindi, English and Telugu. You can see him here during your stay, and a video consultation can be arranged.
About medicines. A medicine prescribed here may not be sold in your country, or may be sold under another name. Some mental health medicines are controlled in other countries and cannot be carried in without a permit. Tell Dr Abdullah where you live so the plan fits what you can get there, and check with a pharmacist in your country.
We run a paid clinical observership, with a named mentor, a logbook and a certificate.
If you started treatment with us, a doctor from our team can see you by video once you are home. ₹500 a consultation. Message reception on WhatsApp to book it.
Video follow-up is not for emergencies. If you feel seriously unwell abroad, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital.
