Caspian Healthcare is a registered Small Healthcare Organisation on Vijay Nagar Colony, a few doors from the post office. Seven departments, five inpatient beds, a laboratory and a pharmacy, in one building.
The part that is unusual: a primary care physician is on the premises twenty-four hours: not on call from home, on site. Nursing cover, the pharmacy and the laboratory run round the clock with him. A blood test at two in the morning does not wait for the morning, and the medicine is dispensed downstairs.
Published because almost nobody publishes it. Fees are for the consultation; laboratory tests are billed separately by our laboratory, Caspian Diagnostic Centre, at its listed rates. Every doctor’s Telangana medical council registration number is given so you can check it yourself; Farheen Begum and Manzoor Tayaba are nutritionists, and nutrition is not a medical register.

There is no emergency department here, no operation theatre and no intensive care unit. Acute medical problems are managed on site. Anything needing surgery, ventilation or intensive monitoring is stabilised and referred the same day, with the clinical details sent ahead, usually to Saradamba Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Vidyanagar.
Chest pain, sudden weakness or difficulty speaking, a serious accident, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness, or a seizure that will not stop: call 108 or go directly to the nearest hospital with emergency facilities. Do not drive here first.
Vijay Nagar Colony sits between Masab Tank and Mehdipatnam, within easy reach of Kachiguda, Malakpet, Asif Nagar, Red Hills and Lakdikapul. The building is Ahmed Plaza, directly opposite the post office. If you are giving the address to an auto driver, the post office is the landmark everyone knows.
