One appointment that tells you where your heart stands. An ECG, a 2D echocardiogram, a capillary blood glucose, and a consultation with Dr. Muzammil to explain all of it.
The point is the consultation. A report with no one to explain it is not a health check. Worth doing if you are over 40, have diabetes or high blood pressure, have a family history of heart disease, or have simply never had it checked.

What we refer onward. This is a non-invasive cardiology service. We have no catheterisation lab and we do not perform angiography, angioplasty or any cardiac intervention. Patients who need those, or cardiac surgery or intensive cardiac care, are assessed and stabilised here and referred promptly to Saradamba Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Vidyanagar, or another appropriate centre.
Finding risk in people who feel well
Indians develop coronary disease around a decade earlier than Europeans do, and often without the warning signs the textbooks describe. That is the reason this clinic exists: to find risk in people who feel well, and to manage it before it becomes an event.
Heart risk and diabetes are rarely separate problems, so this clinic works alongside the diabetes team rather than apart from it.

What we do not do
This is a non-invasive cardiology service. There is no catheterisation lab here. We do not perform angiography, angioplasty or any cardiac intervention, and there is no cardiac intensive care unit.
If your assessment points to intervention, we will say so, arrange it, and send the clinical details ahead rather than hand you a file and a name.
