Our in-house pharmacy is run by qualified pharmacy staff and stocks prescription medicines, over the counter medicines and everyday healthcare essentials, so that treatment can begin as soon as it has been prescribed.
Dispensed on your way out
Patients collect prescribed medicines immediately after a consultation, without travelling to a second place for them. The laboratory is in the same building, so an investigation, a consultation and the medicine that follows them can all be done in one visit.
A stocked inventory means treatment is not held up waiting for something to be ordered in. The pharmacy works closely with the medical team here, which is what keeps a course of treatment continuous rather than interrupted at the point of collection.

Medicines are sourced so that what you are handed is genuine, and they are kept to the storage standards each of them requires. Before you leave the counter you are told what to take, how often, and how to keep it.
The pharmacy is part of the hospital rather than a shop attached to it. It keeps the same hours the hospital keeps, works alongside the doctors and nurses here, and its job is to see that the medicine you leave with is the right one and that you know how to use it.
